South Western Sydney Local Health District has set up Respiratory Assessment Clinics at Bankstown, Bowral, Campbelltown, Fairfield and Liverpool hospitals in response to COVID-19.

This collection centre is operating by appointment only. Call 4627 1875 to make an appointment.


As an alternative to directing patients at risk of the infection to the hospital ED, please consider utilising one of the private pathology collection centres listed nearest to you. 

When referring a patient to one of these collection centres for coronavirus (COVID-19) testing, please note you should:

  • Contact the collection centre in advance when sending a patient; and
  • Where practical, provide the patient with a surgical mask to wear when attending

BANKSTOWN-LIDCOMBE HOSPITAL CLINIC

Operating hours: 7 days per week, 10.00am - 5.30pm

Location: Eldridge Rd, Bankstown NSW 2200.

The clinic is for:

• rapid assessment of staff who meet testing criteria; and

• patients who have either been screened at ED pre-triage or by GPs as meeting criteria to be tested for COVID-19.

It is currently being run by senior nursing staff and there is no medical coverage in the clinic.
 

 

BOWRAL HOSPITAL RESPIRATORY CLINIC

Bowral Hospital Respiratory Assessment Clinic (Flu Clinic) has been set up in response to COVID-19
Operating hours: 7 days per week, 10.00am - 5.30pm

Location: Bowral Hospital (rear entrance off Ascott Road).

The clinic is for:

•           rapid assessment of staff who meet testing criteria &

•           patients who have either been screen at ED pre-triage or by GPs as meeting criteria to tested for COVID-19.

It is currently being run by senior nursing staff & there is no medical coverage in the clinic.

 

CAMPBELLTOWN HOSPITAL CLINIC

Operating hours: 7 days per week, 10.00am - 5.30pm

Location: Parkside Clinic - Building D. The entrance to the clinic is off Parkside Crescent across from the park at Park Central.

The clinic is for:

• rapid assessment of staff who meet testing criteria; and

• patients who have either been screened at ED pre-triage or by GPs as meeting criteria to be tested for COVID-19.

It is currently being run by senior nursing staff and there is no medical coverage in the clinic.

 

FAIRFIELD HOSPITAL RESPIRATORY CLINIC

Fairfield Hospital Respiratory Assessment Clinic (Flu Clinic) has been set up in response to COVID-19
Operating hours: 7 days per week, 10.00am - 5.30pm

Location: Corner Polding Street and Prairievale Rd, Prairiewood 2176.
Building opposite Emergency Department. There is a sign at the main entrance to direct patients to the clinic.

The clinic is for:

•           rapid assessment of staff who meet testing criteria &

•           patients who have either been screen at ED pre-triage or by GPs as meeting criteria to tested for COVID-19.

It is currently being run by senior nursing staff & there is no medical coverage in the clinic.

 

LIVERPOOL HOSPITAL CLINIC

Operating hours: 7 days per week, 10.00am - 5.30pm

Location: In the old after hours GP clinic. The clinic is 150 metres past the ED entrance towards the railway line.

The clinic is for:

• rapid assessment of staff who meet testing criteria; and

• patients who have either been screened at ED pre-triage or by GPs as meeting criteria to be tested for COVID-19.

It is currently being run by senior nursing staff and there is no medical coverage in the clinic.
