South Western Sydney Recovery College
South Western Sydney Recovery College provides recovery-focused education programs that bring together people living with a mental illness, their carers and service providers as students, learning and growing together. It aims to support recovery, build confidence, independence and personal and professional capacity to those who engage with the college.
Eligibility: People who are 12 years and over, living or working in the South Western Sydney PHN region who are:
- living with a severe mental illness who are also receiving primary mental health services, or are willing to engage with a primary mental health service to complement Recovery College participation or;
- carers of people with a severe mental illness or;
- service providers who engage with people living with a severe mental illness and;
- Able to benefit from engaging with a recovery college.
Services Available: Courses are delivered across South Western Sydney via a number of flexible options , such as 10-week courses, pop up hubs, workshops and online.
Referral Pathways: Anyone can register interest by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or call 4621 8400.
The person will be linked with a worker who will support them in developing their own Student Learning Plan based on their recovery and learning goals.
