Committees and Councils
South Western Sydney PHN is committed to improving the coordination of care for local patients and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
In delivering a strong primary healthcare system across the region we will be supported by local community and clinical voices in the Community Advisory Committee and Clinical Council, our two advisory groups reporting to the SWSPHN Board.
Local Health Councils, which have been formed in Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Camden, and GP forums in Wingecarribee, will continue to provide valuable community and clinical insight into the health needs of each of the areas we represent and will report to the Community Advisory Committee and Clinical Council.
South Western Sydney PHN will also be supported by seven new Committees for Aged Care, Population Health, Workforce, Mental Health, Aboriginal Health, Chronic Disease Management and Prevention and eHealth.
All SWSPHN committee members are required to abide by the Code of Meeting Practice. The Code of Meeting Practice can be found here: Code of Meeting Practice.
